**Job Description**:
We have a great opportunity for an **Assistant Accountant **to join our award-winning **Real Estate Management Services **team in our Christchurch CBD office.

We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy professional to deliver accounting services that are included in client management contracts.

This is a 9-month fixed-term opportunity.

**The value you'll add**
- Assist in transactional tasks for the preparation of client reporting
- Assist to process month-end journals, and monthly client reporting
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets for REMS clients.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliation
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Optimise processes and assist with system testing
- Support the Accountants in overseeing REMS clients accounting functions in your assigned portfolio
- Assist as required with the implementation of the new accounting software.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years’ successful experience in finance
