This is a role where you will be able to develop your skills and broaden your experience while at the same time support education, accommodation, sports, property management, and community engagement operations.

Reporting to the Accounting Team Leader, this is a broad ranging role that will allow you to take responsibility for your own annual report and audit. You will also support the financial management and reporting for other entities within the group. Key responsibilities will include payroll, control of the ledgers, overseeing AR and AP, tax compliance including GST returns, preparation of month end financial reporting, budgeting, and production of annual financial statements. As time permits you will also assist as they implement new technologies and develop multi-year financial models which will help them plan, fund, and manage a major building programme.

You will be joining a finance and administration team which supports a broad range of operations. And as they seek continual improvement in the organisation you will play a key role in encouraging and enabling change while also building your own skills and knowledge. Strong interpersonal skills, a high level of computer literacy, good attention to detail, a proactive approach, and growth mindset are also important prerequisites.
