Do you have the ability to multi-task across a range of activities for a variety of individuals, all while maintaining flexibility to accomplish deadlines? If so then come join our Parks team to provide support to our Botanic Gardens and Garden Parks teams. This includes providing accurate administration support and coordination for meetings, functions, projects, team events and travel. You'll provide critical backup to our workflow scheduling and the assignment of tasks for our maintenance team. This role will also see you assist with the delivery of our capital programme through support and monitoring. You'll also generate reports, including monthly reports for internal and external customers.

We're looking for a professional with a "can do" attitude who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure tasks are followed through to completion. You'll be customer focused, organised and produce work of a consistently high standard. You'll also be confident dealing with people at all levels and be able to maintain a confidential and professional manner at all times.

You'll have polished administrative skills to provide high-level support. You'll have experience working within a team of managers who have continually changing priorities, and the character to respond appropriately and competently. You'll have a high level of computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite of products, with experience using SAP considered an advantage. You'll show a natural initiative in resolving problems, using your creativity to think of solutions and sharing relevant information with your team.

While experience in local government would be an advantage, ultimately it will be your ability to build excellent relationships with key people within the team and business that will ensure your success. - _ Hours of work_ - Permanent Fulltime Position
- _ Salary_ - $44,377 - $55,520 per annum
- _ Location_ - This position is primarily based at 53 Hereford Street. Christchurch City
