The role of Sourcing Officer is responsible for coordinating the procurement of tauira resources for Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. Exciting opportunity for an experienced Sourcing Officer to join our wider Procurement team.
- Coordinate national procurement of tauira resources
- Research, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for the best value
- Ensure timely delivery and top-quality materials
- Maintain accurate procurement records and stock levels
- Train and support staff on procurement systems
- Champion sustainable and socially responsible sourcing
**Mōu | About you**
We are looking for a dynamic **Sourcing Officer** to lead the charge in sourcing high-quality, sustainable resources that support tauira across Aotearoa.
- Certificate in Business Admin or Diploma in Supply Chain
- Experience in procurement or resource coordination
- Strong relationship and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
