We are looking for an experienced Purchasing & Logistics Officer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success. Play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the Commercial Vehicles Department at Wade.

Collaborating closely with the workshop team to ensure seamless coordination and timely procurement of parts, materials, and consumables required for the manufacturing process. A strong presence on the workshop floor will be required to achieve this.

**What will you do?**
- Collaborate, communicate, and connect with the Workshop Team to understand their material requirements - as our product is bespoke, this will be key to your success.
- Assist the Purchasing and Logistics Manager with sourcing and procuring parts, materials, and consumables for customised vehicle manufacturing.
- Monitor stock levels of parts and materials, maintaining accurate records and raising purchase requisitions.
- Assist with engaging, building, and establishing relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure received goods meet the required quality standards.
- Be process-driven by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records while identifying opportunities for process improvement and reducing lead times.
