**Our Grocery store based in Upper Hutt is looking for 3X Assistant Manager as we are extending departments in our store.**

**You will be spending your day assisting the manager in managing department operations including staff management, stock control, business development, work for other departments of the store as needed, and other key tasks of the stores. You should be quick learner and multitasking as being a small store, you will be required to do tasks in all the departments.**

**Your Daily tasks and responsibilities**:

- ** Assisting manager in managing the tasks of different departments of the store**
- ** Maintain store staff by assisting manager in recruiting, selecting, inducting, and training employees**
- ** Assist manager in managing stock levels, ordering, stock control, and stock tracking.**
- ** Strategically plan the promotion of the business at a local level so that maximum customers can be attracted**
- ** Daily cash reconciliation, petty cash, and banking**
- ** Provide exceptional customer service throughout the store**
- ** Ensure staff comply with Company policies and procedures**
- ** Maintain security controls - cash, keys, alarms, and stock**
- ** Leading compliance with Food Safety & Health Safety**
- ** Any other reasonable tasks asked by the employer or Manager from time to time**
- ** Enhance image of the store by implementation of agreed standards of display and presentation of stock.**
- ** Pursuit for continuous improvement.**

- ** Availability to work full-time from on weekends, public holidays and work on rostered hours**
