We are looking for a full-time (30 hours/week, $30/ hour) Assistant Manager to manage our store. We will prefer someone with relevant management work experience or qualifications.

We need someone to assist the Manager to ensure the overall smooth and effective operation of the store with a strong customer service orientation. You will liaise with the owner or Manager to discuss issues that will facilitate the smooth running, and high quality of the business and perform the following tasks on a day-to-day basis, and take sole charge of the Retail Business. You will need to be available for a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Daily Tasks Involved in the role:
Assisting the Manager with ordering stock/Ensuring an adequate supply of stock available for day to day running of the business and making sure all promotional stock available.

Helping Manager with roasters and covering the shifts (if required), inventory control.

Dealing with the suppliers in absence of Manager.
- Assisting Manager in recruiting the new employee.

Assisting Manager with Training the new team member.

Helping Management with hygiene and controls.

Product mixing with the Manager.

Helping Manager with setting prices and service standards.

Ensuring all customer queries and complaints are handled efficiently and in timely manner.

Promoting and advertising the establishment of goods and services.

Selling goods and services to customer and advising them on the product use.

Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
