This is a 13 month fixed term or secondment opportunity to cover a period of parental leave.
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
As Senior Communications Adviser you will develop and lead internal communications and engagement for the People and Operations Group. You will work closely with the Deputy Chief Executive and the People and Operations Leadership team to lift the profile of the Group internally and across the Ministry.

The appointment range for this role is $117,541 to $ 138,283 - total remuneration including employer contribution to Kiwisaver.

You will provide strategic advice and support to senior leaders and their teams and mentor people across the Group who assist or take responsibility for their Division’s internal communications.

**We'd particularly like to hear about your experience in**:

- leading internal communications across a complex organisation
- developing strategies and initiatives that are aligned with an overarching strategy, well founded, practical, and appropriate
- working with and mentoring others in a team
- writing and comfortably bringing ideas and advice to the table at a strategic level
- using Zoom webinar and video editing software
