**About the role**:

- The primary focus of the Technical Support Technician is largely based around technical phone support, with an expectation to also provide some hands-on workshop repairs incorporating some administrative duties.
- Products you will be giving technical support and working on will be domestic heat pumps, dehumidifiers, ventilation and refrigeration products. There is also some expectation to provide repairs and support for commercial and hot water product and commercial VRF systems.
- You will be required to complete reports and service sheets for processing of repair jobs and technical support enquiries.
- Prepare, monitor and report on warranty product technical issues.
- Provide support and advice to the parts department.
- Delivery of prompt, timely and professional service to the highest level is required.

**About you**
- A trade qualification in refrigeration and air-conditioning would be advantageous, OR technical knowledge and experience in the HVAC market, specifically with domestic heat pumps, ventilation and refrigeration.
- You hold a minimum of an EAS or EST.
- You have technical experience and expertise with real world scenarios which would be of value, especially when providing assistance to the technicians in the field over the phone.
- Knowledge or experience in hot water heat pump products, commercial VRF systems and chillers would be an advantage
- Ability to communicate well, be resilient and cope well under pressure, have good initiative, be self-driven and a strong multitasker.
- Have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Have a basic understanding of Word, Excel, outlook and able to pick up new systems.
