**Who are we?**

We’re L’affare. The coffee business. Ever since 1990. We were born out of a love for espresso, in Wellington at our café and HQ. 30 years later, we’re still there on College Street. At five years young, our flagship Auckland Cafe and HQ in Newmarket is humming along, the house of our Auckland based crew.

Our people make us who we are today. We’re a mixed bunch of creative, industrious, adventurous humans, all with a great love for serving NZ the freshest and best coffee possible.

**Why join us as our Café Manager?**

As our café manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation, including ensuring exceptional customer service, managing inventory and supplies, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and creating a positive and supportive work environment for our team.

In addition to your management duties, you'll have the opportunity to work with our superstar technicians, coffee roasters and baristas, who are passionate about delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. You'll be joining a team that values creativity, innovation, and a commitment to quality and excellence.

**About you**:
We're looking for someone with a strong background in coffee and hospitality, who can lead by example and motivate our team to provide outstanding service to our customers. You'll also need excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

This opportunity will require some weekend hours, working full-time hours based at our L’affare café on Melrose Street, Newmarket,
