Cafe Manager

Parsons Café and Bakery is currently in search of a passionate and dedicated Cafe Manager to join our team.

Parsons Café and Bakery is located in the heart of Khandallah, we pride ourselves on providing great food and coffee to the surrounding community. We offer a wide range of products that cater to all, from our local customers or to those just passing through. Here at Parsons, we have an enjoyable and organized work atmosphere that promotes the growth and development of all our team members.

About the role:

- Starting at around 38-45 hrs across 5 days per week.
- This is a hands on role where strong barista skills and time management is essential to ensure a smooth running day to day operation.
- In this role you are responsible for leading and motivating the FOH team as well as having a full understanding of operating a successful cafe. You will play a big part in promoting excellent customer service and maintaining a positive working atmosphere.
- You will be working along side our senior team members to uphold our current systems and implement new ideas for on going development.
- You will look after our roster and play a big part in our hiring process.
- Ensure ordering and stocks levels are well maintained and organize.
- We offer a competitive pay rate based on your experience.

About you:

- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a management or senior role in hospitality.
- You will have barista experience, this will be essential as making coffee and being able to train new team members will be a big part of the role.
- Ideally you are organized and passionate when it comes to providing good quality customer service and products.
- Comfortable leading a team of staff in what is often a fast-paced environment.
- You are ideally organized, have strong communication skills and are self-motivated.

**Salary**: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
