The Bay of Plenty Clinical Trials Unit delivers clinical trials at Tauranga Hospital, Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty. A permanent position is available for a Clinical Trial Coordinator to join the team at The Bay of Plenty Clinical Trials Unit. Previous clinical trial experience would be advantageous, particularly in managing Phase II-III clinical trials. The position is part time (32 hours per week) with hours negotiable for the successful applicant.
You will work alongside a team of Research Nurses, to coordinate and perform clinical trial duties from the feasibility stage of a trial to close out in conjunction with the Principal Investigator and the other study site staff. Trials will range from investigator led studies to clinical trials involving investigational medicinal products or devices across a wide disease spectrum. You will work closely with clinicians based at Tauranga Hospital, research sponsors, and external vendors, as well as with patients.
