We serve a population of approximately 259,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.
He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
An opportunity exists to join the Planned Care Services team at Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty in this newly established position as the Clinical Support Services Coordinator.
This senior leadership position reports to and provides support to the Planned Care Administration Manager and provides district wide coordination and leadership to the Health Records, Telecommunication services, Patient Information Centre, Regional Referral Centre and Administration flexi-pool services.
This is a full and varied role, and you will require excellent communication and coordination skills as well as a commitment to professional excellence.Proven experience as a leader in a large complex organisation is required and it is desirable that you have experience in the health setting.
A key focus of this role will be to ensure a culture of Manaakitanga, and a pro-equity approach is at the forefront when engaging with our people.
