**Firstly, a bit about us**:
Airways provides air traffic management services across 30 million square kilometres - this is one of the largest areas of airspace in the world. Our people manage this airspace by providing air traffic control, surveillance, communication, flight inspection, mapping and airspace design services. We work with government, regulatory authorities, airlines, airports and the general aviation community to ensure pilots, passengers and goods reach their destination - safely.
We are almost unique globally because we design our own air traffic management system. That means we write and maintain the code that runs our mission critical systems. That’s pretty cool but it requires a seriously strong attention to detail and systematic approach to development, while still looking to the latest enhancements through continuous improvement.
**About the role**:
We are looking for an EPMO Portfolio Analyst to join Airways. This is a newly created role and will sit within Airways’ Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) team. This role will be integral in supporting strategic priorities of Airways and supporting in translation of Airways’ strategy into action via the EPMO function.
The EPMO Portfolio Analyst will contribute to, and support, the establishment and ongoing operation of Airways EPMO via the use of best practice project, programme, and portfolio (P3M) processes and tools.
This is a very exciting new role and a great time to join Airways.
**The role will be responsible for**:
- Initially, supporting the development and setup of the new EPMO function;
- Supporting processes and governance (e.g., portfolio level governance, oversight of portfolio wide initiatives and supporting portfolio level budget tracking and forecasting);
- Reviewing and analysing the status and health of the projects/programs and provide insights and trend analysis;
- Support facilitation of annual investment planning and portfolio prioritisation activities;
- Provide general portfolio administrative, coordination and analyst support.
- Manage programme and project status reporting timelines and activities including submission tracking, quality review and feedback to project practitioners;
- Enable effective Investment and Portfolio Governance Board meetings by supporting preparation of presentation packs, meeting minutes and actions;
**To be a part of the team you will need**:
- 3-5 years plus experience working in PMO or EPMO environments;
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, guide, and support people in understanding and embracing a new way of working;
- Attention to detail and demonstrated experience in supporting the delivery of complex projects through effective governance, project management and planning processes;
- Solid experience and understanding of Project Accounting, including budgets and forecasting;
- Experience with PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tools;
- Experience and /or certification across multiple project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2) is desirable.
**Our Values**:
