As part of the wider Format, Network Development and Property team, we’re made up of engineers, refrigeration specialists, facilities and maintenance experts who are responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of our fleet of stores right across Aotearoa.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**

As a Head of Facilities Management, you will be ensuring operational assets and buildings are maintained in a safe and cost effective manner, in line with legal, regulatory and lease requirements.

You will be responsible for:

- Managing company assets, services in a sustainable manner, and providing effective contractor management in line with company policies and procedures, while supporting the needs of the operation and business
- Being a key member of the FND&P Leadership team and accountable for driving stakeholder engagement and management
- Managing all contractor led delivery teams and ensuring compliance standards and relevant legislation
- Lead and contribute to the delivery of WWNZ and WW Group sustainability commitments (People, Planet, Products) specific to the ongoing operation and maintenance of our store fleet (e.g. carbon footprint, emissions and energy usage, waste to landfill, material sourcing and recycling)
- Managing the development and delivery of multiple assets and maintenance services to all retail sites, ensuring that our buildings are compliant with all relevant regulations.

**About You | Mōu**
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to influence beyond your own team and lead change and deliver new initiatives within a large multi-site organisation
- Experience in leading facilities management delivery with profit and loss responsibility across similar portfolio.
- Well developed computer literacy skills and experience and understanding of asset management / scheduling systems in particular Maximo.
- Broad experience in the building / service industry and knowledge of building and service regulations and statutory obligations
- Understanding of compliance requirements with OH&S legislation, relevant codes, environmental Standards and other statutory provisions
- Experience in developing improvement initiatives, business cases and the delivery of multi-million dollar savings across similar portfolio.
- An understanding of contemporary energy management, environmental sustainability and whole-of-life principles
