New Zealand Customs Service | Te Mana Ārai o Aotearoa is looking for a person to join our maritime team based out of Opua, complementing our talented Auckland team as Senior Customs Officers Grade 1. We have 1 role available. This maritime role put you on the water and amongst Te Taitokerau communities, where you'll be an ambassador for Customs and border security. We'll give you the training you need for the job, and much of this takes place in Auckland. During your first six months training, you'll be spending most of your time there, but we'll support you to return home on days off wherever possible. Once you're up and running, you'll spend most of your time in Northland, within an established community that will support you in your work. Still, Auckland will remain a regular destination for you - you'll be checking in with your Auckland teammates and keeping up on your professional skills.
