Job Description**
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

The SAP Master Data Specialist will provide support to ensure business data quality standards are maintained and align with business processes. You’ll be our SAP guru when it comes to administering all SAP related data and overseeing the design, systems and processes. Not to mention you will support the delivery of SAP training to our employees to help get them up to speed and meet our business outcomes.
**Your 4 key areas of responsibility will be to;
- Support Generation SAP, S4/Hana master data.
Work with our digital team to automate and simplify systems.
- Deliver SAP training to a multitude of teams across our business.

Below is a snapshot of some of the main tasks you’ll be doing;
- Co-ordinate and analyse Operations Master Data requests and manage and develop and maintain Master Data mass load functionality.
- Ensure Operations Master Data is retained at an acceptable quality level through the adherence to and continual improvement of Master Data change processes.
- Support SAP upgrades through User Acceptance Testing and evaluate and recommend solutions and enhancements. Support Testing and deployment of materials, inventory and mass uploading SAP Master Data.
- Assist (working with Finance, People & Culture, Digital, ICT and the AMS provider) with and help coordinate Master Data changes that impact outside the Operations data object set.
- Provide technical advice, training, coaching and mentoring on the S4 Hana and Fiori SAP system to Operations SAP users and increase their capability in utilisation of the system.
- Recommend opportunities to implement more suitable processes and procedures, to simplify or automate complete processes.
- Work with new technologies and enablers such as mobility to enhance and improve SAP and S4 Hana user experience.
- Advise and support Incident and Change management processes. Maintain SAP Master Data training material and deliver training where required.

How you’ll be successful**

You’ll be the type of person who can strike a good balance between technical and interpersonal. Working with our people at various Contact sites, you’ll be interacting with a number of others across the fleet, sharing your expertise and advice.

Here's a snapshot of some of the key things we'd like to see from you;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven SAP skills & experience, ideally with administering Master Data within SAP. Strongly focus on SAP PM (Plant Maintenance and MM Material Management modules). Skilled at analyzing SAP Master Data with a focus on Quality Assurance.
- Knowledge of S4 Hana and Fiori apps or working in an environment where these systems have been deployed.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Skilled in identifying complex issues, offering cost effective solutions, and implementing efficiencies
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proven track record of instructional design experience and delivering training to a wide range of audiences successfully.
