**About the Role**:
We are delighted to get on board a Sales Executive - Outside Sales to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand.
Reporting to the Deputy Director Sales, this role is to promote and sell CMA CGM Group shipping and Non-maritime services and develop sales strategies specifically looking at bringing on new clients and increasing coverage within existing client base.
**Key responsibilities of the role will include**:
Provide sales services to a dedicated portfolio of existing customers, establish and maintain contact with customers, and maintain concise and current customer profiles, including the sales data and regular updates of the Market ID database
Participate in establishing the Commercial actions plan and ensure the agency sales' segmentation is correct and up to date
Maintain a regular program of customer interaction (scheduled face to face visits) as required, to expand and or develop new business in line with targets set by the Deputy Sales Director
Plan and conduct commercial calls on customers as per agency sales segmentation
Assist in the preparation of sales budgets, sales plans and monthly forecasts, where directed
Promote ANL, CMA CGM Group Services and Non-Maritime products (e-commerce, VAS, intermodal, CEVA) in line with target set by Deputy Sales Director
Establish and maintain contact with customers, and maintain concise and current customer profiles, including the sales data and regular updates of the Market ID database
**To succeed in this role, you will need**:
Degree in Business or related discipline or relevant tertiary qualifications
Minimum 3 years of expereince in shipping/ freight forwarding and/or the logistics industry preferably in a sales or customer service role
Strong proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Highly organized, strong interpersonal skills with an ability to liaise with a broad spectrum of people
Good commercial acumen with commercial and customer-oriented approach
Self-motivated with ability to plan and co-ordinate workflows and performance effectively and without supervision
Highly developed communication skills; both written and verbal
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think strategically
Right to live and work
