At Auckland Transport (AT) we are passionate about working together to deliver a safe, innovative, and sustainable transport system and providing transport choices for a growing, vibrant Auckland.

We have an awesome opportunity for an IT Asset Coordinator to join our Business Technology team In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the IT Asset Management Database is accurate. You will analyse and report the assets held to help reduce costs, identify poor performing assets and develop an upgrade and replenishment plan.

A day in the life of a looks like:

- Ensure that there is a lifecycle plan in place for each asset category in the asset database.
- Ensure that assets are available as and when required for upcoming projects, spares replenishment and operational requests.
- Adhere to Auckland Transport's IT asset management processes.
- Process service requests for the deployment of IT assets (ready and control process) and update the Asset Database, where required.
- Process service requests for changes to the asset database (control asset information process).

You will be customer centric with strong communication and organisation skills.

You have an eye for detail and able to work across several processes and requirements. Tech savvy, you have proficiency working with tools in the Microsoft Suite. Some experience working with IT project management/asset tools would be advantageous however we can teach you these with your high learning agility.

You will be team player who is willing to contribute and work collaboratively.
