Our ICT Asset and Supplier Management team sits within the Digital Services and Operations Branch. Within our team we are proactive in managing the contract lifecycle and the relationships with our technology suppliers. We are taking a different approach to tracking our consumption of technology services with the goal of creating transparency that enable financial sustainability.
**Tenei turanga - About the Role**:
As the Analyst ICT Assets in our team, you will be working as the contact point for ICT vendors and projects deploying staff-based ICT equipment and software to drive enterprise level outcomes. This role has oversight, coordination and execution of desktop user equipment and software deployment.

- **Ability to quickly assimilate new information of areas of work, quickly establish and build strong working relationships, and to develop trust and credibility with managers and staff.**:
- **Proficiency in creating and manipulating spreadsheets, including data input and analysis.**:
- **Experience in building models to identify trends in hardware usage and age (e.g., servers, laptops, monitors) to support planning and forecasting.**:
- **Demonstrated experience in procurement processes, including sourcing and ordering ICT hardware, peripherals, and enterprise software in a timely and cost-effective manner.**:
- **Proven experience in managing and conducting physical stocktakes of ICT equipment and peripheral inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of assets across multiple locations.**:
- **Demonstrated strength in business report writing, with the ability to clearly communicate complex information. This role conducts the analysis of significant supplier contract payments and produces the memorandum for signoff by the branch GM.**:
- **Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in working with suppliers to gather billing information and provide context for reporting.**:
- **Ability to quickly assimilate new information of areas of work, quickly establish and build strong working relationships, and to develop trust and credibility with managers and staff.**:
- **Experience in the development and maintenance of asset plans and registers.**
