This Senior Practice Adviser role is an exciting opportunity to provide operational practice guidance and support to the national service within Aotearoa's justice sector. Once fully implemented, Bail Support Services will deliver bail services in all regions and District Courts across the country and will have a workforce of around 150 staff. Local level service design will determine how the service operates in each district, but the overarching standards of practice will be the responsibility of the Senior Practice Adviser to instil and uphold across all sites.
This role requires someone who is a leader that thinks outside the box and who is proactive in providing advice to the Principal Practice Adviser on how to develop, implement and staff practice. They will also work closely with the wider management and operational teams. The Senior Practice Adviser will provide operational guidance through projects, facilitating, participating/leading workshops, regional delivery, reflective practice, practice development sessions, and contribute to creating an environment amongst the teams to work safely and effectively within the practice framework whilst adhering to our values.

To be successful in this position you will be a strong leader who thrives on creating environments for people to operate at their very best. You will have a good working knowledge of justice sector processes and will be comfortable managing operational requirements across several teams throughout the country in a complex environment. Well-developed relationship management skills are essential as the role requires significant stakeholder engagement.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The midpoint of the salary range is $89,210 and the full range (85%-120%) is $75,829 - $107,052. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
