**About the Role**

Based in Hamilton you would be part of a wider Research and Development team who are working in the areas of genetics, genomics, breeding scheme design, animal welfare, methane reduction, machine learning, and pasture measurement from satellites.

Applicants will display the following attributes:

- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
- Excellent communications and coordination skills for working with diverse groups
- Skills in statistical analysis with R or Python and SQL would be an asset

Experience working in a research environment or developing new products would be an advantage, you will need to be organised and enjoy working across a range of research and business areas.
