**The Role**
As a Customer Service Officer are the heart of our business providing important services such as Reception, Merchandising and sales to our members, casual users and potential new members in accordance with our established operational routines and procedures.
The primary responsibility of our Customer Service Officers is to deliver first class services. With a strong customer service background, you will have experience in achieving targets and delivering exceptional customer service and you will continue to drive the overall experience of our guests.
**About You**:
- Certificate Level II in First Aid
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current CPR
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Passion for customer service
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Cash Handling and sales experience
- Experience with a computer based point of sale system
- Similar experience in a fast paced, multi-faceted customer service role
**Key Accountabilities**
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers, both in person and over the telephone by responding to customers' needs or concerns and ensure the quality of service meets agreed customer service standards.
- Effectively handle business enquiries for the centre via internal and external lead generation.
- Ensure that daily cash handling records using Point of Sale (POS) systems are accurate and reflect all transactions done during a day
- Use a variety of marketing methods to promote the centre and its services in order to consolidate and increase patronage and membership base respond to community requests for bookings
- Support positive sales of centre merchandise.
