ABOUT THE ROLE
Step into the dynamic role of our People & Culture Coordinator, where every day brings new opportunities to make a significant impact You'll be at the heart of our HR operations, assisting with essential administrative tasks throughout the employee lifecycle. From onboarding and offboarding to payroll support and HR systems management, you will be the glue that holds our team together. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a vibrant, engaging workplace where everyone can thrive.
As the backbone of our P&C team, you’ll ensure smooth operations of key HR functions, directly contributing to a positive employee experience and efficient workforce management. Your ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and manage stakeholder relationships will be crucial.
**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR processes, company policies and maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
- Administering HR systems (HRIS) to manage employee data, process organisational changes, issue employment contracts/variation letters, and track onboarding/offboarding activities.
- Contributing to health and safety initiatives within the organisation and championing process improvements within HR operations.
- Providing support for various HR projects and initiatives to drive team success.
- Assisting with reporting and administrative tasks as required.
- Bringing innovative ideas to the table ensuring the successful implementation of key HR projects.

ABOUT YOU
We are on a change journey, so this role will ideally suit someone who is looking to grow their career in a dynamic environment and is willing to roll up their sleeves and join us as our P&C team model matures. Ideally, you will bring:

- 2-3 years experience in a similar HR role
- Knowledge of Fair work, NES, and employment laws in Australia and New Zealand
- Ability to work to timeframes, managing competing demands and priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to learn new systems
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proactive and solutions-driven with a positive attitude.
- Relevant tertiary-level qualifications
