**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Senior Student Recruitment Adviser to join Te Kahupapa - Future Students Team on a permanent, part-time basis.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead the recruitment events and activities for Te Wāhanga Waihanga-Hoahoa - Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation, with the goal of increasing the number of domestic students choosing to study within this faculty.
- Provide advice and support to your Faculty on domestic recruitment opportunities.
- Evaluate and monitor Faculty recruitment initiatives.

**Ō pūmanawa - About you**

You will be customer-focused, highly organised, and proactive. You will be confident in building working relationships and networks, have a passion for event management, and enjoy a challenge. You are comfortable with presenting to large groups and will use your experience in people facing roles to engage with a diverse range of audiences.

You will have:

- A university qualification.
- Experience of working in the NZ tertiary environment or experience within the architecture and design innovation industry.
- Experience in student recruitment, marketing, or event management.
- Proven ability in working with people at all levels and establishing working relationships and networks.
- An understanding of the New Zealand secondary school systems.
- Availability to travel outside Wellington and for working evenings and weekends on limited occasions.
