This large, dynamic corporate in the service sector is looking for a Strategy Analyst to join their high performing strategy team working collaboratively to formulate the business’s long term strategic plan.

Working closely with senior business leaders, this is a highly visible role, leading strategic initiatives throughout the business. Collaborating with commercial and technology stakeholders across the company, you will quantify ideas and projects, and develop business cases and recommendations.

We are looking for a strong Analyst, hungry to fast track their career to the top.

**The role**
Reporting into the Strategy Manager, and working alongside various work streams, you will be responsible for:

- Communicating key findings to team members and senior/executive management
- Developing effective networks for gathering information, creating hypotheses, testing insights and sense checking emerging recommendations
- Sourcing, manipulating and interpreting large data sets
- Building and maintaining complex Excel models, providing insights and strategic recommendations
- Working collaboratively with business leaders to prepare business cases (including analysis and written documentation) for presentation at Board level
- Running valuations and due diligence for any M&A projects, and working collaboratively with external advisors
- Preparing and presenting benchmarking analysis.

**Your background**
- Tertiary degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Two - five years of experience:

- within the strategy team of a large corporate,
- as an Analyst in an investment bank, or
- Big 4 or consultancy experience in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services or Financial Advisory.

**Your personal attributes**
- Strong sense of commercial acumen
- A keen problem solver with a logical approach
- Ability to structure complex strategic analysis
- Exceptionally strong financial modelling with an ability to manage large data sets and translate that data into simple formats
- Stakeholder & Relationship management skills
- Confident presenter, comfortable presenting at a Board and Senior Executive management.
