The Role
Bringing a solid background of experience, you will work collaboratively on the delivery of multiple projects across the sector. This role will provide an opportunity for involvement in multiple projects where you will be in charge of achieving goals based on safety, programme, quality, and Budget.
In this role, you will be also responsible for providing great service to clients, managing the requests and works on each of the sites, and liaising with staff and subcontractors to resolve any issues.
We are looking for someone with Senior QS expertise, coupled with an interest and enthusiasm for project delivery and client engagement.

This includes the following responsibilities
- Project Set-up
- Prepare cashflow forecast, progress claim template, and budget (see below) to form part of the contract
- 1-2 direct reports including a junior and intermediate QS
- Arrange insurance and bond
- Provision of timely and accurate schedules of costs and materials for Construction projects
- Be responsible for the preparation of build-up/budgets for the various key timelines
- Assist with the provision of detailed pricing for tender submissions
- Continue to price the job and finalise variation costs resulting from engineering reports/investigations from the Design portion of the project
- Provision of accurate cost reporting on current and recently completed projects
- Regular reporting as required to management
- Provision of contract and variation pricing ensuring that amendments and changes are covered off in the project documentation
- Track project performance against initial pricing/budgets
- Provide accurate construction programmes for use by the relevant staff members
- Complete back-costing on completed jobs to ensure that future budgets are appropriate
**What we are looking for**:
- Have a tertiary qualification and experience as a senior quantity survey experience preferably in New Zealand.
- Have strong organisational and communication abilities
- Be a team player with a history of maintaining exceptional working relationships with both colleagues and clients
