**Your new company**

They are a civil contractor based in Auckland who delivers a range of civil infrastructure works and land development projects. The company is well known, growing and has a fantastic track record of innovative developments. They pride themselves on delivering high quality outcomes to multiple clients of varying size and scale across the Auckland and Waikato regions.

**Your new role**
- This role plays an essential part to the business success, by securing new work through the preparation of tenders and other pricing mechanisms.
- Another key area is to provide cost management support to PM's/QS's during the projects.
- As the Senior Estimator, you will need to maintain the core communication link with all customers and conduct duties in a way that maintains and builds future relationships
- Ownership of the estimating function
- Heavy involvement in the bid and tender functions
- Cost Analysis
- Contracts Administration

**What you'll need to succeed**
- 10+ years’ experience in a previous Estimator role
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
- Experience with local authority standards e.g. Council, Watercare etc.
- Experience with New Zealand standards
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills with excellent time management skills also
- Very detail orientated with the ability to communicate internally and externally
