We give you access and time to use our bespoke Growing Stronger Learning Portal to grow personally as well as professionally. **The Role** As Contracts Manager you’ll take oversight of contract management processes - delivering consistent and accurate contract management and administration services, including the drafting and issuing of contract instructions, and management of variations and monthly payment claim processes. We’re honest about what the job is and it’s not something for someone who wants to coast. No two days are the same, and that’s what gets our team excited. You’ll be encouraged to lead and supported in that leadership as you make project decisions. - You’ll attend PCG meetings, minuting actions so nothing gets left undone. - You’ll build strong relationships with clients and be a trusted advisor, keeping them posted of contractual issues and following up to close out - Draft and issue approved contract instructions - Managing the monthly payment claim process - Support others, building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives **Here’s what we need from you**: - Minimum three years' post grad experience, as a QS, Contracts Manager or similar. - Relevant qualifications such as Construction Management (QS/Economics), Construction Law or similar. - Detailed knowledge and the preparation of robust contract documents, contract administration, correspondence and reporting. Experience working with, and knowledge of NZS3910 contracts and the Construction Contracts Act. - Experience working in the construction industry and understanding of the responsibilities and obligations of the parties involved in the project. - An affinity for working collaboratively and collectively with project teams, working towards the same goals - Good decision-making - the ability to make sound judgements - Excellent attention to detail in your work - Great communication skills - you’re a great listener and know how to negotiate to reach the right outcomes - The ability to travel overnight once a month. **You will have googled us by now**: And here’s what you will have foundThe Building Intelligence Group (TBIG) is 100% New Zealand owned by over a quarter of our 125+ people.
