We have an exciting opportunity to join our whānau as the Kaiwhakahaere Kimi Tauira | Manager - Tauira Recruitment based in our Te Waenga takiwā (Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Gisborne district).
**About the role**:
As the Kaiwhakahaere Kimi Tauira, you will lead a team responsible for managing the engagement and recruitment of students across our Te Waenga takiwā. You will work closely with takiwā and Te Puna Manaaki (National Office) teams to design and implement recruitment plans, lead regional market insights gathering, manage recruitment activities, and support and champion organisational initiatives that improve student recruitment.
You will also work with stakeholders such as iwi/hapū, community, industry, and government agencies to increase pathway opportunities and enrolments. Your schedule is flexible and may need to work weekends and evenings, setting up at events and representing Te Wānanga o Aotearoa in the public eye.
**Ideally you will bring**:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- A full NZ Drivers Licence (Clean - Class 1) & clean Police check
- Marketing, relationship and staff management experience
- A willingness to participate in, and engage with, āhuatanga and tikanga Māori (values, culture and customs)
