A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE...

We have just created an exciting new position for a **Light Commercial Lead** to join and lead our tight-knit light commercial team.

You will lead our **Light Commercial and Virtual Facilities Management (VFM)**division and have full strategic and operational ownership of a diverse, fast-cycle portfolio, everything from single-day call-outs to multi-trade refurbishments.

Your mission is to:

- Set divisional strategy and deliver profitable growth.
- Be accountable for the delivery, development and performance of small
- to medium-sized projects, reactive maintenance, programmed services and interiors.
- Champion customer experience and secure repeat business.
- Coach and develop emerging leaders across Wellington and the Central region.
- Drive programme, cost, quality, H&S and environmental performance.
- Embed robust reporting, governance and continuous-improvement systems.

You’ll report to the COO and work closely with senior leaders, project teams, customers and subcontractors to protect Maycroft’s proud reputation and lift our capability.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED...
- 10 years + experience in leadership of commercial construction, maintenance or service-delivery environment
- Trade skills, facilities management experience and market knowledge
- Track record managing multiple fast-moving workstreams and achieving margin, programme and quality targets.
- Strong customer-facing skills, ideally with repeat-business or service-contract exposure.
- Commercial acumen and risk-management savvy.
- Enjoys mentoring and growing strong, capable teams.
- Competence with operational systems (e.g. Procore, CRM or job-tracking tools).
- Flexibility, resilience and a solutions mindset.
