As the gateway to the Bay of Plenty Region, for both business and tourism purposes, Rotorua Airport is a business hub for many local tourist attractions and aviation services, and acts as a pivotal component in the infrastructure of our local economy.

This is a key role within the Rotorua Airport structure and will report directly to the Chief Executive, whilst working closely with other members of the management team. Covering six-month maternity leave, this role provides executive level support to the Board, Chief Executive along with supporting key projects as required by the Senior Management Team.

Key accountabilities include;
- **Board Support** - preparation of Board packs, documents and action lists
- Board inductions
- Preparation of agendas and taking Board minutes
- Organisation of Board meetings incl travel, venue, catering requirements
- **Chief Executive / SMT Support** - regular correspondence, meetings and appointments, travel and accommodation requirements
- Co-ordination and preparation of information for the CE
- Project administration and research
- Facility administration
- HR Administration / training, and payroll support
- Social media, website, intranet and communications

Being a key support role within the organisation we require someone who has well-tuned interpersonal skills, operates to the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality standards.

You will have a good working knowledge of business management and have previously worked within a commercial operating environment.

This an interesting, varied role where no two days will be the same
