**Mo tenei turanga - about the role**

As part of the Fire and Emergency NZ's Public Safety Network (PSN) Programme, we are updating our communications systems to ensure our front-line staff have access to secure and resilient communication tools that enable them to do their jobs, stay safe and support our communities.

Working within the Business Readiness workstream of the programme, the Advisor Communications and Change is responsible for providing timely support to training and change related activities. This will involve developing and delivering tactical communications, scheduling training activities across the motu, tracking the completion of change and training activities as well as monitoring business readiness.

Hit the ground running with your wide range of transferrable skills in this dynamic position. You will bring flexibility and a collaborative approach to fit into this busy work environment.

Your natural organisation skills along with your proficiency in tracking various activities across a large and complex organisation will be key to success in this role.

**To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have**:

- Proven experience delivering high quality people focused change support within a programme
- Experience managing complex change activities within projects/programmes
- Experience providing logístical support such as scheduling, travel and itinerary planning across a large organisation
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with a focus on people
- The ability to prioritise a workload with competing deadlines

**The salary range for this role is $96,998 - $107,776 (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.**
