**About the role**
As a Modern Desktop Engineer at Vector you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of onsite responsibilities, and will have a high level of direct interaction with Vector employees and contractors in order to:

- Deliver top-tier customer service to the business
- Ensure the efficient operation of designated sites or regions and in our flagship TechPoint walk up facility
- Have the opportunity coordinating the efforts of onsite agents across multiple locations, enabling the optimization of our desktop environment.

**Who we are looking for**
You will be an experienced desktop engineer with excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills, along with:

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in desktop engineering supporting Windows-based operating environments
- Experience with Azure AD, Office 365 and Microsoft Intune
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation, optimization, and troubleshooting of desktop configurations
- Understanding and implementation of security principles, practices, and tools for securing desktop systems, including endpoint security solutions.
- Proven experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Microsoft Teams meeting room systems within an enterprise environment would be advantageous.
