**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and commercially astute Technology and Portfolio Leader to join our team as Programme Director for ourPlatforms. ourPlatforms is Silver Fern Farms multi-year programme to transform our technology platforms and is critical to successful delivery of our strategy. This is a key role within the Transformation & Technology Leadership Team with responsibility for providing leadership, management, coordination and direction to our teams.

You will be leading and managing the formation of the programme through to the delivery of the new capabilities and realisation of benefits. The programme director will need the ability to work positively with the full range of individuals and groups involved in the programme - particularly the programme sponsors and key stakeholders. The programme director will liaise closely with programme and project managers, partners and stakeholders to plan, prioritise and resource the programme throughout its lifecycle.

The responsibilities of the Programme Director for ourPlatforms primarily include:

- Successfully deliver the ourPlatforms programme of work and within budget.
- Being a key contributor in sustaining a culture of active engagement and self-leadership within the Technology & Transformation team, and more broadly across Silver Fern Farms.
- Working closely with stakeholders to ensure that they stay connected to the story of ourPlatforms and understand the implications of decisions made to achieve its expected outcomes.
- Manage the resource demands of the programme by providing Programme and Project Management (PGM/PM) resource capability where needed. You will work closely with the Head of the Enterprise Project Office and relevant project leads/managers and functional leaders to ensure that adequate future planning of programme and project resource requirements are understood to match the demand.

**What you’ll bring to the role**

Key attributes and experience:

- Minimum 8 years’ experience in directing and managing programmes of work within a complex organisational environment;
- Experience with the realisation of benefits that have come from detailed business cases;
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in facilitating workshops and ideation across multiple stakeholders and differing levels;
- Have a good understanding of Agile methodologies and practices;
- An understanding of the ITIL framework, in particular Service Transition and Service Operation;
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to liaise with senior management.
