Tech Coatings has established itself as the go-to problem solver brand in the market and is now focusing on growing and expanding its reach. For this we are looking for a Strategic Marketing Manager to join our team.

**What we are looking for**:
The passive fire industry is an intimate sector and we are catering to a very niche market.It is critical for us that a new member of our team can hit the ground running.

In-depth knowledge of our industry (incl.intumescentcoatings and passive fire protection) and our competitors (national & international) is a must.You have a solid understanding of our target groups (fire engineers, architects, applicators, project managers) and are happy to strike up a conversation and build meaningful client relationships.

Additionally, you have a broad spectrum of knowledge when it comes to the NZ construction industry, project management and relationship management.

You have exceptional work ethics and a high level of dedication to your role with a willingness to go the extra mile. You live a truly holistic approach to all tasks you can let us know if we missed something, even if it is not in your area of expertise.

As our Strategic Marketing Manager you report directly to the Managing Director and will be leading a team of up to two people, at any given time, due to our project-based approach.

You are comfortable and able to work remotely and connect with the team through digital means.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Business Strategy_
- Advice board of directors on strategic business decisions with your expertise in the industry and branding
- Branding & Marketing_
- Oversee corporate brand strategy (incl. positioning, band architecture, brand design & product branding)
- Managemarketing plan
- Oversee & manageCRM strategy always, focus oncustomer journey and touch points
- Plan & execute above-the-line & digital marketing campaigns on corporate &product brand level
- Perform outcome focused market research on relevant topics
- Plan, organise and execute all marketing aspects of trade shows/conferences
- Support CFO in creating stakeholder reports
- Plan, oversee & aid in the creation of marketing materials including:

- Website content & design
- State-of-the-art ppt presentations for internal/external stakeholder & client meetings
- Technical articles
- Technical manuals, brochures and sales enablement toolsPackaging
- Sales_
- Advice on & manage our sales strategy
- Liaise with our sales team on marketing material requirements
- Design, review & updatesales materials
- Human Resources_
- Manage onboarding strategy incl. employee handbook
- Create & manage recruitment process
- Support the business on fostering values &facilitating seamless communication
- Design, plan & execute internal workshop and trainings

**Required Qualifications & Work experience**:

- Minimum Bachelors degree in a relevant area
- Solid background in branding & marketing (at least5years of experience)
- Knowledge of organisational psychology and psychological concepts a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in CRM strategy and content management
- At least 2 years of experience within the passive fire protection industry
- At least5years in leadership roles
- Required Industry specific knowledge in
- Passive Fire Design Competent
- Fire Testing - Competent
- Preferably at least Train the Painter Bronze Certificate
- Languages Skills:

- Excellent(Native level)written and spoken English language skills
- German language skills a plus, due to partners and clients in Germany and Austria
- Software Skills:

- Excellent PPT skills
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, Teams & SharePoint
- Advanced skills in Miro digital whiteboard

- Open to travel for meetings with clients, trade shows, etc.
- Must have a valid drivers license

LocationNorth Island

Positions available: 1

Employment is permanent and is for a minimum of 40 hrs a week between 8:00am and 7:00pm Monday to Friday

Applicants must be able to work evenings and weekends

Applicants must be prepared to travel for trade shows, customer visits throughout the North Island.

$80,000 to $85,000 per annum (depending on experience)
