**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
As a Marketing Manager, you will be part of the wider Brand & Marketing team that manages the activation and execution of our brand strategy and shapes the way we develop our overall brand expression to build growth and differentiation in the NZ market. Working agile, you will lead out on the marketing campaign developments for one of the brand strategy pillars, collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, our agencies and Trans-Tasman partners and be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of key marketing campaigns. Based on changing requirements, you might be asked to lead a small team (Squad) around a specific customer objective.

Key Priorities for the role include:

- Lead, develop and enable a high-performing team of collaborative, highly engaged functional marketing experts.
- Support adjacent teams across squads and tribes
- Drive effective and efficient communication planning across all our marketing activities.
- Drive the execution of our roadmap of one of our key brand pillars, both tactically and long-term, supporting and motivating the team to deliver world-class brand and marketing communications
- Set clear input and output targets
- Champion data-driven and insight-led decision-making to inform strategies, identify opportunities, optimise performance and proactively mitigate challenges.
- Champion the customer in our decision-making processes.
- Maintain and grow strategic relationships within the business and outside

**About You | Mōu
This key role requires a passionate and experienced marketer, with strong commercial understanding, a strategic and analytical mindset as well as a deep expertise in reaching audiences in a fragmented and complex media landscape, both digital and traditional.

Your specific experience will likely reflect:

- Deep understanding of customers, their behaviours and habits
- Solid experience in executing marketing campaigns in a physical environment is essential, supplemented with a good understanding of the digital environment (omnichannel)
- A deep understanding of the role of price & value, its relationship to customers in the current environment, and tangible examples of previous work provided in that space (digital and/or physical environment) are strong advantages for this role
- A thorough understanding of the role of online shopping, its role in the life of customers and changing needs and expectations would be a further significant advantage.
- Ability to demonstrate success in building brand trust
- Clear understanding of the role of community and local neighbourhoods in driving brand & reputation
- Strong analytical skills, with particular focus on customer and business metrics, an ability to understand trends, question hypotheses and demonstrable ability to consider data in a decision making process.
- Demonstrate team-leading skills and capabilities, ideally in an agile working environment
- Exceptional collaboration, influencing and communication skills
- Demonstrable financial management experience: forecasting budgeting and reporting.
- Mindset of ‘always learning’, constantly challenging yourself and others and always improving.
- Deep passion for food.
