Cyber Security Solution Architect

**Our Opportunity**:

- Lead the cyber security practice to drive continuous improvements based on cyber security best practice and frameworks.
- Play an active role in the coaching and guidance of members of the cyber security team, with an emphasis on the security engineering team.
- Actively participate in the design, selection, implementation and ongoing improvements of security controls and platforms to stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat modelling and development and update of risk management plans.
- Develop and maintain cyber security architectures including reusable patterns and long-term roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Industrial Control Systems specialists to implement robust risk mitigation strategies to mitigate threats to operations systems.
- Provide support and leadership during cyber security incident response events.
- Ensure alignment with relevant Compliance, Governance and Project Management processes and actively participate in Architecture Governance forums.
- Leverage board expertise across cyber security domain to build trust and confidence of business leaders and stakeholders.
- Articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences effectively, both formally and informally.

**We are looking for**:

- Appropriate Technical Security qualifications - preferably at least one of SABSA; CISSP-ISSAP; GICSP; GRID; CCSP; SSCP; GSEC; GISP; GCIH; Security+; CCSK; CCSP.
- Working knowledge of PERA, GERAM, SABSA, and TOGAF with emphasis on Technical Security will be considered an advantage.
- Appropriate tertiary level qualification in Information Security or Computer Science with 10+ years of related job experience.
- Technical background in Cyber Security Solution design (AWS & Microsoft environments preferred).
- Experience implementing Zero Trust, SASE and IAM related solutions.
- Understanding of good security practices and frameworks e.g., SABSA, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, ISO, and MITRE ATT&CK.
