**Job Description**:
As a Workforce Planning Specialist, you will oversee the labour model for our Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery & Noel Leeming stores playing a pivotal role in improving productivity capability for our stores.
This role sits within our Store and Sales Operations Chapter Area who are experts in developing and coordinating the right environment to create great retail customer experiences, and exceed sales and services targets. Our Workforce Team has an influential role in helping our brands allocate resources within the ever-changing retail environment we operate in.
You will do this by:
- Determining an ideal store workload capacity and develop and implement a labour scheduling model
- Continually review and modify the model to ensure it supports the changing needs of the business
- Time in motion studies
- Always be looking for optimisation opportunities while developing a deep understanding of the complexity of our store formats
- Assist in the forecasting and budgeting process
- Developing and deploying productivity standards that accurately reflect expected operational and customer standards.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities that reduce the cost of doing business within a range of productivity targets
- Supporting multiple stakeholders to drive maximum value from process change that reduces the stores cost of doing business
- Providing insightful analysis and present timely and accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc management reporting for all relevant Business Units
**Qualifications**:
Previous workforce planning experience is essential for this role. You’ll also have both an analytical and logical mind (which will be called upon daily) and you will be motivated by a role which challenges you daily, tests your agility and satisfies your desire to achieve results. Equally important is your excellent communication and relationship management skills as you will need to be confident expressing your opinion with your cross functional team and your chapter.
