The Art Director will manage the creative expression for Bendon's House of Brands, from campaign ideas, art direction, photography, and video to digital and social content design. Reporting to the GM of Marketing and Digital, you will be responsible for translating concepts and marketing needs into inspiring and compelling stories and campaigns-ensuring consistent brand expression across all customer-facing materials, marketing campaigns, digital content and omnichannel experiences. **What you will do**: - Collaborate closely with the copywriter to conceptualise campaigns and promotions - Create high-quality visual direction of core concepts as well as cross-channel tactical executions for our house of brands - Develop a strong understanding of Bendon Lingerie assets well as other external touchpoints, and integrate them into creative concepts in a thoughtful, authentic way - Work alongside the Creative Producer and marketing team to see ideas through and ensure creative vision is executed properly. - Own the creative direction that evolves and differentiates Bendon, strong focus on our brand's purpose, relevance, and consistency - Serve as a strong collaborator-ensuring the team is working towards the same brand vision for creative excellence and fostering a highly creative and collaborative team culture. - Foster a "brand-first" mindset and set an example for cross-functional solid collaboration with design, merchandising and marketing. - Drive actively and authentically inclusive representation across all creative content. **Essential Functions**: - Exceptional design and typography skills to elevate our brand, print and digital assets. - Operate with a solid grasp of Bendon's brand and aesthetic. - Mastery in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD. Competency in HTML, CSS, Premier, and After Effects a plus. - Assist with the conceptualization of new campaigns and contribute to the graphic direction to illustrate and sell ideas and campaign concepts. - Move projects from concept through execution to hand-off, using existing templates or creating new ones, to enhance Bendon's branding and storytelling. - May also include design research, photo and video concepting, presentation decks. **Qualifications and Competencies**: - 3+ years' experience in an agency or design department - Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, and effectively presents information clearly and concisely. - Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels. - Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically You will be vital in elevating and evolving our creative output while supporting the overall brand direction through solid concepts and a stylistic approach. - If you are a mid-weight Art Director looking for your next career-defining move - this could be it._
