**About the role | Ko te mahi nei**

As a Parks & Gardens Maintenance Officer in Hagley Park you will spend time maintaining our large greenspaces, your general duties will involve mowing, Line trimming and gardening. This role is diverse and at times you will be asked to work at different locations throughout the city.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Tractor/mower operation
- Mowing and management of turf areas
- Line Trimmer operation
- General maintenance

**About you | Ko Koe Tēnei**

We need a talented and enthusiastic person to ensure the maintenance of these areas continues effortlessly. We know you love being outside and enjoy an environment where no two days are the same. Although you'll work to a busy schedule, the workload varies from job to job and is highly rewarding and satisfying. You will have:

- A full driver's licence (required)
- A minimum of level 4 National Certificate in Horticulture or equivalent, or extensive experience in similar role
- A Grow Safe qualification and/or a traffic management ticket/qualifications would be highly desirable
- A talented and enthusiastic specialist who will ensure the maintenance of our gardens
