**About the Role**

We have an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual to step into a newly established role here in Favona, South Auckland. The Logistics Coordinator's role will involve ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of materials and equipment to the site and monitoring these deliveries. We are looking for a team player, who will relish a challenge and be able to communicate at all levels. This person will report to either the Senior Site Manager or Project Manager. You will also arrange traffic management and site access as required.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

- Liaising with suppliers and construction teams to coordinate deliveries
- Ensuring all vehicles and pedestrians entering the site, follow the correct protocols
- Monitoring contractor sign-in and Health and Safety requirements
- Maintain Site Access Register accurately
- Assistance with Hazard identification
- Assist with Job Safety Analysis and Permit to Work
- Responsible for the security of the site

**Skills and Attributes**
- A current forklift license
- Detailed knowledge of construction is desirable and good health and safety knowledge
- Computer literate, with the ability to keep and maintain clear and concise documentation
- Calm and professional personality with sound relationship-building skills
- Clear and concise communication and interpersonal skills

This role is fixed term for a period of 18 months.
