Reporting to the Payroll team, the purpose of this role is to contribute to the operation and continuous improvement of our Payroll function within our People & Culture division, Group Services.

As an innovative team player, share and progress your skills and knowledge within the wider Team.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of Payroll and HR processes to ensure the ongoing accuracy and timely processing of Council’s pay runs. Excellent customer service and professional communication skills, along with progressive thinking, are must-haves for this role.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

- Sound understanding of Payroll and HR Processing and Policies;
- Experience with complex payroll issues and errors;
- Critical thinking, strong attention to detail with alignment to systems;
- Experience communicating key items to stakeholders and through project work.
