We’re seeking a talented Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll team, based at our Commercial Bay office in Auckland CBD. This exciting role sits within our Finance team and will be responsible for end-to-end processing of the New Zealand payrolls and the USA payroll.
**What you’ll be doing **_: _
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll processes including payroll taxes, superannuation, and month end account reconciliations.
- Respond to staff queries and promote a strong customer focus with ongoing emphasis on quality-of-service delivery
- Preparing all payroll submissions including company specific payroll returns, tax returns, online filings with tax authorities, superannuation and worker’s compensation etc, ensuring all requirements are met within required timeframes.
- Assisting the Payroll Manager with various reporting throughout the year
- Have the opportunity to gain exposure to international markets
- Be part of a Finance team that takes great pride in our work and likes to have fun

**What you’ **ll bring**
- 3-5 years Payroll experience in a multi-national company
- Experience with PayGlobal is preferred and experience with international markets would be an advantage
- Basic understanding of finance and accounting processes and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and adapt your style
- The ability to plan well with strong time management skills.
- The ability to influence effective outcomes based on sound reasoning and advice
- A mindset to learn and gain new skills with an inquisitive yet methodical approach to problem solving A ‘winning together’ mindset and a positive, can-do attitude
- A high standard of work, demonstrating excellent attention to detail and perseverance
