Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is a vibrant and exciting tertiary education institution, which offers a range of programmes from certificates to doctorates, across a range of disciplines.

We are looking for a full time Lecturer to deliver year 2 of the degree Te Aho Pūtaiao (Bachelor of Environmental Studies). The curriculum has been developed so students participate in their natural environment and are able to use a balance of Māori and western knowledge, rangahau, theory and practice.

- A minimum of a Masters’ degree that is relevant to the fields of Matauranga Māori and Matauranga Taiao.
- An adult teaching qualification.
- Previous tertiary teaching experience (teaching degree level papers).
- Relevant applied environmental work experience.
- Proven research experience.
