The role

As the KiwiSaver Product Manager, you will own, design, and grow the KiwiSaver proposition for FNZ. You will need to utilise your expertise to:

- Design and develop FNZ’s KiwiSaver proposition
- Create and document relevant processes for FNZ’s KiwiSaver operations and funds under management (FUM) registry linked to the overall proposition
- Lead internal knowledge transfer sessions with the FNZ team on the KiwiSaver product and FNZ’s proposition
- Design and facilitate customer facing workshops and meetings regarding FNZ’s KiwiSaver proposition

The responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, design and develop FNZ’s KiwiSaver proposition to continue to deliver a leading product in the New Zealand market.
- Partner with the relevant internal teams to create and document relevant processes for FNZ’s KiwiSaver operations and funds under management (FUM) registry linked to the overall proposition
- Have a full understanding of a Platform Target Operating Model, including the interfaces between platform and customers operations and FNZ Investment operations. Provide advice to customers regarding best practice operating model design.
- Document any bespoke KiwiSaver product customer requirements.
- Provide review and quality assurance off design documentation produced by the FNZ Systems analyst team.
- Lead internal knowledge transfer sessions with the FNZ team on the KiwiSaver product and FNZ’s proposition
- Design and facilitate customer facing workshops and meetings regarding FNZ’s KiwiSaver proposition
- Have a good knowledge of the regulatory environment in which the KiwiSaver Product Manager operates and provide advice and guidance to customers in respect of delivering a compliant platform.
- Create and document relevant processes for FNZ’s KiwiSaver operations and funds under management (FUM) registry that can be followed and implemented by the relevant teams as required.
- Lead internal knowledge transfer sessions with the FNZ team on the KiwiSaver product and FNZ’s proposition as needed
- Design and facilitate customer facing workshops and meetings regarding FNZ’s KiwiSaver proposition

Industry Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of KiwiSaver and FUM registry within the New Zealand market essential;
- General investment/ wealth/ life and pensions products and the markets in which FNZ and our customers operate;
- An understanding of the regulatory environment and a good working knowledge of the regulatory change requirements for a given year.
- Financial services / wealth market experience

Knowledge and Skills
- KiwiSaver and FUM registry experience essential
- Experience designing and delivering a KiwiSaver proposition in New Zealand
- Experience in Finance, IT or project management desirable but not essential;
- Confident, and able to take initiative given client

- Analytical thinking and high attention to detail;
- Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills;
- Good team communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients;
