We seek a landscape gardener to create beautiful backyards and civil jobs. The role requires a commitment of 5-6 days per week, with a work schedule of 30 to 50 hours.

**What is your role**

You'll interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to create functional and visually appealing garden landscapes. Construct hardscape features like patios, pathways, retaining walls, and pergolas using various materials.

**What you will do**

Interprete landscape plans and technical drawings to design and construct visually appealing and functional garden spaces

Build a variety of hardscape structures, including gravel and paved walkways, retaining walls, fences, pergolas, decorative ponds, barbecues, and garden furniture, ensuring both durability and aesthetic harmony with the surrounding environment

Prepare seedbeds and planting areas by enriching soil conditions to support the healthy growth of softscape elements such as trees, shrubs, hedges, flowering plants

Look after the plants and arranging trees, bushes, hedges, flowers, and bulbs to enhance the landscape’s natural beauty and structural balance

Develop lush and well-maintained lawn areas by spreading nutrient-rich topsoil, seeding grass, or laying instant turf for immediate greenery and soil stabilization

**What you will bring**

Minimum of three years of work experience or NZ Level 4 qualification in Landscape or relevant qualifications/certificates

Composed, professional demeanour with a strong work ethic

Compliance with all organizational policies and procedures

Must be physically fit and self-motivated

Capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously
