Do you love the outdoors? Do you have a passion for gardening? Then this could be the perfect role for you.

We are currently looking for casual crew to help our friendly team keep our parks and green spaces presented at their very best.

In this varied role you will carry out a range of general park maintenance including gardening, horticulture, planting, weeding, weed eating, pruning.

If you join our team you will be given an induction, full training and provided with full uniform PPE and well maintained equipment.

**What would casual look like?**

We would give you a call a couple of days prior to work availability to see if you are available and keen to work. If keen, you would be given directions where to meet, either at our depot or a site/park. You would then be met by an experienced team member who would walk you through the job for that day. You will always be working with at least one other team member. You will also be supported by a supervisor who checks in with their crew daily. Please note that each working day is a full day, usually between the hours of 7:00am to 3:30pm.

What you will be doing?
- Operating an array of small plant, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, blowers etc
- Gardening duties, preparing and presenting quality workmanship for the public to view.
- Manual handling involving physically moving and removing vegetation and debris.
- Weed spraying

We are looking for Individuals who:

- Enjoy working outdoors
- Good physical fitness.
- Restricted or Full 1 NZ driver’s licence
- Reliable transport
- Are keen to learn, previous experience is desirable but not essential.
