About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Gardener to join our team. The role involves planning, installing, and maintaining gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas for residential and commercial properties. You will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality outdoor environments that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Constructing and maintaining gardens, parks, lawns, and other landscaped areas.
- Planting, cultivating, pruning, and caring for trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns.
- Installing irrigation systems, retaining walls, paving, and other landscape features.
- Operating and maintaining hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws.
- Reading and following landscape designs, plans, and client instructions.
- Maintaining safe work practices and ensuring all tasks are carried out to a high standard.

Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture.
- Ability to use gardening tools, machinery, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of plants, soils, pest management, and turf care.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform outdoor manual work in different weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications (Preferred but not essential)
- Certificate or Diploma in Horticulture, Landscaping, or a related field.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Health and safety training (advantageous).
