**All about the job**

Our information management team is growing; this newly created role needs someone who takes immense pride in their work, and has a passion for information management protocols. This interesting diverse role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both educating others and being hands-on themselves.

In this role, you’ll be:

- providing expertise, advice and guidance to Council teams on their records and information management obligations
- supporting the development and implementation of policies, principles, and standards
- collaborating with other teams across council
- delivering staff training and support
- assisting with auditing and monitoring processes
- completing file and box listings
- scanning, organising and maintaining physical records.

**All about you**

It would be fabulous if you have experience working in a central or local government information management environment.

You’ll need to show us that you have:

- a relevant qualification in Records/Information management or equivalent experience
- have good knowledge of information and records management principles and practices, and legislation
- experience managing records and information, and using an enterprise content management system
- a proactive, can-do attitude with a high level of initiative, sound judgement, and discretion
- excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
